CAASPP Testing Procedures & Guidelines

Testing Location: Cafeteria
Testing Window: April 21 – May 8 Grades: 11th & 12th
Testing Time: Beginning of 2nd Period through the end of 4th Period

Testing sessions begin at the start of the 2nd period and may continue through the end of the 4th period, depending on the test being administered. Students must follow all procedures to ensure a secure and focused testing environment.

Testing Procedures for Students

1. Phone Collection

• All testing students must report to Room 1 at the beginning of the 2nd period.
• Students must place their phones inside the designated phone box before testing begins.
• No electronic devices are allowed during testing.

2. Move to Testing Location

• After placing their phones in Room 1, students will walk to the cafeteria.
• Testing areas will already be set up and ready for students.
• The test proctor will provide instructions before the test begins.

3. During Testing
Students must:

• Follow all directions given by the testing proctor.
• Remain quiet and focused during the testing session.
• Use only the materials provided.
• Not access any electronic devices.

4. Students Who Finish Early

• Students who complete the test early will report back to Room 1.
• Students will remain with Mr. Miller until the end of the period.
• At the end of the period, students will report to their next scheduled class.
