Yolo High School students are Visionary, Inspired, Bold, and Engaged.
V- Visionary
- Students create opportunities to foster by applying personal experiences to those learned at school to be successful at school and for college, career, and life readiness
- Students create short and long term goals for academic and personal success
I- Inspired
- Students contribute to the improvement of Yolo High School through academics, positive behavior and relationship-building, restorative practices, and service learning
- Students graduate with goals for college, career, and life and relevant experience to be successful
B- Bold
- Students apply skills learned to resolve problems through mindfulness and restorative practices rather than violence
- Students use common strategies to succeed in reading, writing, and speaking in class and across campus
E- Engaged
- Students are inclusive and respect diversity at Yolo High School and in the community on campus and by demonstrating this in academics, positive behavior, and relationship- building
- Students apply skills learned at Yolo High School to access college, career, and life opportunities
